Based out of our offices in Chorley, Lancashire, our dynamic business draws on extensive and varied experience in the built environment and our clients can count on us to ensure things run more smoothly, collaboratively and profitably.

| Meet the Team

Dan is a Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, having held a number of senior roles in different disciplines across the North West. Dan is skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex, high value projects on programme and within budget. Dan is experienced in procurement and project delivery, coupled with a strong background in commercial management. An excellent communicator who understands the need to establish an effective team and develop positive relationships.

With varied industry roles, Darren has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. As a Quantity Surveyor his practical experience leads to a great knowledge of construction techniques.  He has an extensive background in the commercial management of high value construction projects as well as pre-contract cost planning.  As an excellent communicator, Darren will work to develop a positive relationship with all parties and will interrogate all commercial aspects of the project to ensure best value.

John has over 35 years in the industry and has extensive experience in cost management of commercial construction projects, with a particular focus on pre contract cost planning, design management and procurement.  John is skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex, high value projects on programme and within budget. His experience in procurement and project delivery, coupled with a strong background in commercial management, position him ideally to lead pre contract cost planning processes.

John Wilson

Tom has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, having held a number of senior planning roles amongst Tier 1 contractors working with many different forms of contracts, including extensively with NEC3 and NEC4. Tom is highly experienced in project planning and delay analysis, having worked on both the Client side and in general contracting. As a positive communicator and team member, Tom is used to collaborating effectively with project partners to deliver detailed and reliable resources.

Craig has worked in the civil engineering and construction sector for over 25 years in a variety of senior roles. Craig is a skilled contract administrator, project manager and cost manager, bringing extensive experience from a broad portfolio of projects. Craig is used to managing project teams and his client facing approach make him an ideal project lead.

Leanne has extensive administration experience, gained over 35 years in multiple industries.  As well as providing office support to the GCL team, Leanne takes ownership of quality assurance processes and document control to ensure the management and structure of the service is in accordance with the company’s Quality Management Systems.

Dave has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, degree qualified, with senior experience in roles with large construction and development companies. He has developed a positive reputation for working alongside clients and supply chain members to deliver high quality projects, on time with excellent financial returns. Dave has a varied project CV ranging from healthcare, residential, offices, student accommodation, leisure and industrial.

Rob is an experienced Quantity Surveyor, having worked in the industry for over 15 years. He has worked on projects ranging from £1m to £25m in value. With a wide-ranging experience of projects in a variety of sectors, including new build, refurbishment and public realm, Rob is used to working as part of a delivery team and is an excellent communicator. Rob prides himself on his attention to detail, problem solving and ability to exceed client’s expectations.

As a Chorley based company, we strive to engage with young people in our community via our local secondary school, Parklands Academy. Our team work closely with the Parklands Careers Lead supporting mock interviews, work experience and careers fairs to promote the construction industry.
