Preston Porsche Hanger Project

Bowker Preston Ltd approached GCL to provide support and Quantity Surveying Services on a project to expand their workshop and servicing facilities to take account of the expansion of electric vehicle sales. The project makes use of an existing portal framed building previously used for vehicle storage. The works include removal and replacement of floor slab, roof and wall cladding, installation of rapid action vehicle doors, together with mechanical and electrical installations, including PV’s and specialist fume and car maintenance equipment. The completed facility is required to meet the exacting requirements of Porsche and safety requirements associated with the storage and installation of car battery technology.
