| Overview

Our Client, having acquired this existing care home, has committed to extending the facility to add a further 14 bedrooms and ancillary space. The works will be delivered in an existing care facility and the sensitivities around the phasing and logistics are of paramount importance. GCL have been engaged as QS and Employers Agent and have provided early stage cost advice and design support up to contract stage. A detailed procurement strategy has been developed, through consultation with various stakeholders, to ensure that an appropriate contractor appointment is achieved. Cost Management and Employers Agent services will be provided throughout the works
