On a frosty and foggy early morning in September, our Director, Dan and his friend Matt, took on the challenge of the Windermere 5k Swim!
The early morning mist cleared to unveil a beautiful, sunny day and the temperature in the lake was a pleasant 17 degrees.
Completing the swim in 1:44 and 1:55 hrs respectively, both emerged from the water with beaming smiles and brimming with pride that their challenge was complete!
Donations were received in aid of our supported charity, Inspire Chorley Youth Zone, via a JustGiving page and an amazing £770 was raised!
Inspire Chorley Youth Zone provides a safe and amazing space, fulfilling an urgent need for youth support across the Chorley Borough. A staggering £1.2 million is needed each year to continue with their amazing support, activities and health and wellbeing early intervention.
