| Project Details

Gosling Consulting have been engaged as Quantity Surveyor on the forthcoming expansion and refurbishment of the existing departure lounge at the Isle of Man Airport.

The Departure Lounge at the Isle of Man Airport has two primary departure gates, these are gate numbers 4 and 5, which facilitate access to the four largest pier stands.

The area per passenger (both seated and standing) falls below desirable limits for comfort and a positive passenger experience. Toilets are available within the pre-boarding lounge on the ground floor but are also very limited in number.

During busy times, this space can become overloaded, resulting in a requirement to review capacity and consider opportunities to expand the facility, offering enhanced passenger experiences and further promote the island as a destination.
