Gosling Consulting have been appointed by Chorley Council as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor on the forthcoming Town Centre improvements and Civic Square development.
This scheme, following successful securing of a Levelling Up Fund award, will see the formation of a new civic square in front of the historic town hall which will act as a new destination in the town. The creation of a mixed use hub fronting onto the civic square, will also act as a focal point in the town for socialising. The delivery of high quality energy efficient homes in the town centre, enhancing the opportunity for people to live and work centrally and the refurbishment of the Union Street offices. Improvements to surrounding public realm makes this a truly transformation project for Chorley.

The existing Bengal Street depot will be relocated to make way for apartments and townhouses, with associated open spaces.
