| Overview
Following Wigan Council successfully securing the Levelling Up Fund, they aim to create a more attractive environment for customers and traders and ensure the market has a sustainable and vibrant future. The works will consist of roof upgrades, replacement of sustainable mechanical and electrical equipment, internal decoration and creation of a unitised market stall arrangement, creation of a flexible indoor space, formation of a new and inviting main entrance, creation of welfare facilities and improved signage.
Gosling Consulting have been appointed by Wigan Council to act as quantity surveyor and contract administrator from RIBA Stage 2-7, working closely with the rest of the team to establish optimum value for the client. The team are excited to be involved in this school project for a new client, which further expands our portfolio of Market Regeneration Projects.
