| Overview
Tatton Gardens is being constructed on the site of the former Stagecoach bus depot in Chorley and sees a tremendous regeneration of the area supported by grant funding from Homes England and the Getting Building Fund. The scheme will compliment Chorley Council’s sister development at Primrose Gardens, which has been a resounding success. Tatton Gardens brings forward 62 extra care apartments and incorporates a doctors surgery / pharmacy, community centre, nursery, extensive recreation ground upgrade as well as superb communal facilities for residents and the local community. GCL have been fortunate to work with Chorley Council from the beginning advising on many issues ranging from consultant procurement, design development, cost management, contractor procurement and through into the delivery phase and handover. We can’t wait to see this building brought into use and witness the impact it will have on the lives of local residents. A really fantastic community project.
